That's an awesome story... that is awesome... the labels head to toe makes that story Donna.

Duane Swierczynski

Brilliant post, Donna--a rare entry in the subgenre of "fashion noir." After HELENA, you should turn your attention to the follow up: THE NEDS.

Ayo Onatade

I am sorry but I had tears in my eyes when I read that. That was so funny. I wonder what they would have done if you had really got annoyed!!

Now, I remember the story. I had forgotten about that one. Of course shoes have to be involved. Heaven help any mugger who tries to get Donna's shoes. They'd be done for.

Dave - thanks :o)
Duane - I'll bear it in mind :o)
Ayo, actually I was probably as annoyed as I get without crying, so it was a good thing I wasn't any more annoyed :o) I have this terrible habit of crying whether I'm angry, frustrated, happy, upset, sad, saying hello to people, saying goodbye to people, watching a sad film, watching a happy film... (I know that certain people reading this will now be nodding their heads in agreement). It's a bloody terrible habit and I wish I didn't do it, but there you go.
Mary - are we taking a trip to the shoe mseum in Toronto? :o)
