Which I'll just let speak for itself, thank you very much:
Derringer Award-winning author Dave White's WHEN ONE MAN DIES, featuring New Jersey P.I. Jackson Donne, in a very nice deal, in a two-book deal, to Jason Pinter at Three Rivers Press, by Allan Guthrie at Jenny Brown Associates (World).
Now, I am hugely biased here, as I read several drafts of WHEN ONE MAN DIES over the course of the last few months. But so what - it's a damn good book and the finished version will be so much more so. If you've read any of Dave's short stories featuring Jackson Donne, you'll probably have a pretty good idea what to expect. And you'll get it, and then some.
Congrats, man. This is so incredibly cool.
Thanks Sarah... it is sooooooo cool.

Unfounded rumor: I hear Paul Giamatti is eyeing the role of Jackson Donne as his follow up to LADY IN THE WATER.
Okay, I made that up.
But big congrats to Mr. White. And to the agent Al "Sunshine" Guthrie, who brokered this to sweet-ass deal.

Yes, hail to the triumvirate -- David, Sarah and Allan. See what happens when writers help one another?
Now excuse me, but I have several photos of myself with Mr. White and I need to post them to eBay.

Ach, it was only a matter of time before that sonofabitch out-earned me. Congratulations, Whitey. And I mean what I said: I get a free copy, else I'll hurt you.
