Janet Maslin wasn't much kinder to the new Finder in the Weekend Arts round-up. Which doesn't mean they don't both have a bias, but maybe this time out it really is the book.

David J. Montgomery

I thought Maslin's review was rather positive, although she didn't care for the packaging. As for the book itself, my critique should run next week. I have a much different take on it.

Joseph Finder just can't get a break from the critics. The NYTBR coverage of KILLER INSTICT was similarly negative. And don't get me started on Patrick Anderson calling PARANOIA "dog food."
