Many thanks, Sarah, for the profile of Wm. Lindsay Gresham. By coincidence, I just saw the premiere of the musical "Nightmare Alley," adapted from Gresham's book by Jonathan Brielle. (Needless to say, it's not a musical comedy). A fine first effort. It's at the Geffen in Westwood, CA, and my prediction is that it will be tinkered with and you may be hearing more about it on both coasts.
