We'll never know how Seranella would have developed her appealing new protagonist, crisis manager Charlotte Lyon, in future installments, but this first book shows her ability to try something different, something distinctly non-Munch even though the character shares quite a bit in common with Ms. Mancini. Graceful writing and Seranella's patented dry humor makes this a strong recommended read.
